Shipping & delivery
How this will work, written before we open rather than after — including the parts we have not finalised yet.
Nothing ships today. Checkout is not open, so there are no orders and no
deliveries. This page describes the model we are building and marks clearly what is still to be
confirmed. When it is confirmed, this page changes before the first order can be placed — not
after.
How orders will reach you
We are a catalogue retailer working from a wholesale distributor's inventory. When you order, the part is picked and dispatched from the distributor's warehouse rather than from a shed behind our office. In practice that means fewer hands on your part and no second leg of shipping — but it also means the dispatch timetable is theirs, which is why we are not quoting you one we have not agreed.
What is confirmed
- Shipping within the United States, by established carriers (UPS, FedEx or USPS depending on size and weight).
- Shipping cost and any tax shown before you confirm an order, never added afterwards.
- A tracking number passed to you as soon as we have it from the warehouse.
What is not confirmed yet
- Dispatch and transit times. We will publish real numbers from the distributor's own service levels. We are not going to guess at "1–2 business days" to look good and then miss it.
- Free-shipping threshold, if any.
- International and APO/FPO shipping. Some parts cannot travel by air at all — anything with fuel residue, pressurised cans, certain batteries.
- Oversize items. Gas tanks, fenders, exhaust systems and wheels ship at their own rates.
Things that will always be true
- Check the part fits before you order. Our My Garage flags fitment, and the fitment rows are on every product page — but catalogue data can be wrong, so if you are not certain, ask us first. A fitment question answered in an hour beats a return that takes a fortnight.
- Inspect the box before you sign, and photograph any damage before you open it. Carrier claims live or die on that photograph.
- If something arrives wrong or damaged, we sort it out — see returns and exchanges.
