Privacy policy

Effective 2026-09-22. The registered business entity behind this site is named here before checkout opens — see the notice below.

Where this stands. This site is pre-launch: no checkout, no orders, no payments. The registered business entity and its mailing address are named on this page before a single order can be placed. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Everything else on this page describes exactly how the site behaves today.
The short version. We collect an email address if you give us one, and whatever you type into the contact form. We run no advertising trackers and no analytics on this site. Your garage never leaves your own browser. We do not sell your data — to anybody, for any price.

What we collect, and only this

Your email, if you hand it to us

The “first access” form on the front page stores the address you enter, the date, the page that referred you and the country your request came from. We use it for one thing: telling you when the store opens. Reply to any message and ask us to delete it, and we delete it.

What you put in the contact form

Your name, email, the subject you pick, the bike you name and your message — so we can answer you. Nothing more, and it is not added to a marketing list.

Ordinary server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, page, browser) to serve traffic and stop abuse. That is infrastructure, not profiling, and we do not use those logs to build a picture of you.

What we do not collect

Your garage stays on your device

My Garage keeps the motorcycles you add in your browser’s own local storage, under the key hmp_garage_v1. It is not transmitted to us and we hold no copy. The practical consequences, both directions: nobody can take that list from us because we do not have it, and we cannot restore it for you if you clear your browser or switch devices.

Cookies

We set no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a cookie strictly to keep the site secure and working. Local storage, as above, is used only for your garage and stays on your machine.

Third parties we actually use

That is the whole list. If it grows, this page changes first.

How long we keep things

Signup emails are kept until the launch announcement has gone out or you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first. Contact messages are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write back.

Your rights

Whatever your jurisdiction, our answer is the same: write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Residents of California, the EU, the UK and other regions with specific statutory rights — access, deletion, portability, opting out of sale (we do not sell), and non-discrimination for exercising any of them — can exercise those rights the same way.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

When what we collect changes — opening checkout being the obvious one — this page is updated before the change goes live, and the effective date at the top moves.
