Scam warnings
Parts sites get cloned and customers get phoned. Here is exactly what we will and will never do, so anything else is a fake.
We will never telephone you for card details, ask for your card number by
email or text, ask you to pay by gift card, wire transfer, crypto or a "friends and family" payment,
or ask for your password. If someone does any of that in our name, it is not us.
How to know a message is really from us
- Our only website is harleymotorcycleparts.com. Check the spelling in the address bar before you type anything into a page. Cloned sites use near-miss domains — an extra word, a hyphen, .shop or .store instead of .com.
- Email from us comes from our own address, published on our contact page. A free mailbox pretending to be a company, or a domain that is almost ours, is a red flag.
- We will never send an unexpected invoice, a "failed delivery, pay this fee" message, or a demand that you act within the hour. Urgency is the oldest tool in the box.
Right now, nobody can buy anything here
Checkout is not open. We are not taking orders, not taking payments and not shipping. So any message claiming to be an order confirmation, invoice, shipping notice or refund from us today is fraudulent — no exceptions. Do not click it. Tell us and we will warn others.
Spotting a cloned parts site
- Prices far below everyone else on hard-to-find parts. Nobody sells a rare Panhead casting at 70% off; they take the money.
- No physical address, no working phone, and a contact form that never replies.
- Payment only by bank transfer, crypto or gift card — all chosen because you cannot get the money back.
- Stock photos lifted from other retailers, and product text copied word for word.
- A brand-new domain. A registration lookup takes ten seconds and tells you a lot.
If you think you have been caught
- Contact your bank or card issuer immediately and ask about a chargeback. Card payments have the strongest protection — this is exactly why those other payment methods get pushed.
- Change any password you reused on the fake site.
- Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov, and to the FBI's IC3 at ic3.gov.
- Let us know if our name was used. We cannot recover your money, but we can warn other riders and chase the clone.
Our side of it
We are an independent aftermarket retailer. We are not a Harley-Davidson dealer, we are not endorsed by Harley-Davidson, Inc., and we never claim to be. Anyone using our name while claiming to be an official dealer is misrepresenting both of us.
