Harley Motorcycle Parts today announced that its online store, harleymotorcycleparts.com, is now live. The site launches with a catalogue of 38,672 aftermarket parts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, organised into 2,876 categories and 26 shop-by-system departments covering everything from brakes and exhaust to lighting, electrical, fuel and transmission.

Most parts sites are built around a part number. Harley Motorcycle Parts is built around the bike. Riders add their motorcycle to My Garage once, and the store flags which parts fit as they browse. Dedicated hubs for 15 popular models — including the Road King, Street Glide and Fat Boy — gather the right parts and guides for each bike in one place.

"Riders shouldn't need a parts counter and a spec sheet to buy a brake pad," said the Harley Motorcycle Parts team. "We built the store so you start with your bike and end with parts that fit it, with real guides alongside so you know what you're getting into before you pick up a wrench."

Online checkout opens shortly. Until then riders can browse the full catalogue, save their bike to My Garage and build a parts list in a wishlist, ready for the day ordering opens.
