Harley Motorcycle Parts Publishes Free Library of 26 Harley How-To Guides
Plain-English maintenance guides that start with what most riders get wrong.
Florida, October 4, 2026 —
Harley Motorcycle Parts has published a free how-to library of 26 Harley-specific guides, part of a wider how-to hub that also carries 303 model guides.
Each guide opens with the thing riders most often get wrong. Among them: a modern Harley has no drive chain — it runs a toothed belt that must never be oiled; a Harley has two throttle cables, which is why replacing only one leaves a sticking throttle; on fuel-injected models the fuel filter sits inside the tank; and a Harley uses SAE and Torx fasteners, not metric.
Topics include throttle cables, suspension preload and sag, the T-CLOCS pre-ride inspection, chrome, paint and leather care, the fuel system, engine-noise diagnosis, forward controls and a first Harley toolkit. Every guide links straight to the parts it mentions.
"Half the questions we get are answered by one fact nobody told the rider," said the Harley Motorcycle Parts team. "So we lead with that fact."
