Harley Motorcycle Parts Launches Free, Searchable Database of 478 Harley-Davidson Schematics

Over a century of patent drawings, 1910 to 2025, plus public-domain WWII Army manuals with wiring diagrams.

Florida, October 4, 2026 —

Harley Motorcycle Parts has opened a free, searchable schematics and diagrams database containing 478 Harley-Davidson US patent drawings spanning 1910 to 2025. Riders, restorers and builders can search by keyword, filter by system — engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, exhaust and more — and by era, then view every drawing sheet for each patent on its own page.

The database also points to the public-domain War Department manuals for the WWII WLA (TM 9-879 and TM 10-515), which include the original wiring diagram and exploded views.

"Restorers spend hours hunting for drawings that are genuinely public record," said the Harley Motorcycle Parts team. "We put them in one place, made them searchable, and linked each one to the parts for that system."

Only genuinely public material is included: granted US patents are public records and the WWII manuals are US government works. Copyrighted factory service manuals are not reproduced, and the database tells readers where those are sold. Each patent page links the full patent text, a PDF download and the matching parts department.
