Harley Motorcycle Parts Launches "Build a Bike" Section for Custom Harley Projects

Frames, engines, transmissions and rolling chassis grouped the way a build happens - plus the joints that decide whether it works.

Florida, October 4, 2026 —

Harley Motorcycle Parts today introduced Build a Bike, a section for riders working on a custom Harley-Davidson project. It groups frames, complete engines, transmissions, primary drives and rolling chassis kits from the store's 38,672-part catalogue in the order a custom build actually happens.

Rather than pretending any two parts simply bolt together, the section is upfront that it groups components and does not certify combinations, and it walks through the joints that decide whether a build works — so riders know which measurements to confirm before they buy. Parts can be saved to a wishlist as a build plan comes together.

"Custom builds go wrong at the joints between parts," said the Harley Motorcycle Parts team. "We'd rather tell a builder what to measure than sell them a frame that won't take their engine."
